A writer by heart, designer by trade. My work blends local contexts and global design practices to build brands, publications, experiences, and curricula that are grounded in research, experimentation, and speculation.

I'm inspired by global editorial traditions, Tamil visual culture, postcolonial thought, fashion, music, and pedagogy, with over 7 years of experience partnering with entrepreneurs, companies, and students in building ideas from the ground up.

With an MA in English Studies, and an MFA in Graphic Design, I train students to adopt more holistic and sustainable design processes, having worked as a visiting faculty, teaching assistant, and curriculum developer.

I am also the co-founder and director of Nagaram Methods, a pluralistic design practice aimed at making design thinking and research more accessible and speculative in the local community through student collaboration, design workshops, focus groups, and more.
